the Fleurieu Peninsula
Thunderbird Restaurant and Bar is the latest venture in Campbell Haig's portfolio. A portfolio that embraces coastal luxury and includes icons that have now become synonymous with the Fleurieu Peninsula.
After more than 10 years living on the Fleurieu Campbell is proud to call himself a local, and a passionate one at that. Campbell holds positions with Fleurieu Food and Fleurieu Peninsula Tourism and actively supports local initiatives and showcases local producers and artists through his various business interests.
The concept behind Thunderbird was simple, "we wanted to create a meal option that wasn’t currently offered."
"It was an opportunity to complement an already flourishing main street community and add to the many reasons why Port Elliot should be top of the to-do list for anyone staying in or passing through the region" says Campbell.
Campbell's other interests include:
A 4 acre french provincial estate accommodating up to 22 guests and suitable for weddings, retreats and private celebrations.
No.58 Cellar Door & Gallery
A bespoke cellar door showcasing Thunderbird Wines, a comprehensive café, wood-fired pizzas and art gallery.
Handmade small batch wines grown on the Southern Fleurieu Peninsula.
